Form of workWe are looking for an experienced receptionist to join the Let’s Eat Feeding Therapy in our Lambton-based clinic.
Permanent Part-Time position: 16 hours a week.
Days: Monday- Tuesday
Hours: 9am - 5:30pm
Start date: February 2024
What we are looking for:
The suitable applicant needs to have experience working as a receptionist and be the face that clients see when they enter the premises. They will work closely with another part time admin (Wed-Fri) and a team of 6 speech pathologists in relation to the administrative needs of the practice: including invoicing, booking clients for appointments, taking payments through HICAPS/Medicare/Eftpos, liaising with referrers and managing appointments in therapist’s diaries.
They must have a strong work ethic, be very reliable, organised, and comfortable using a computer (Microsoft Office).
The role will include:
- Booking clients through the online Practice Management software, Halaxy, for Speech Pathologists.
- Greeting clients for their appointments, taking intake referrals, general phone calls, and emails.
- Taking payments with HICAPS, Medicare claims, and Eftpos
- Managing daily emails, and correspondence
- Supporting the Speech pathologists with daily tasks, and visual support making.
Skills and Experience
- Familiar with the online Practice Management software Halaxy, is preferred, but not essential,
- Strong computer skills
- Experience with HICAPS/Eftpos
- Experience with NDIS but not essential
- Possess a strong customer service focus, be friendly and courteous
- Excellent organisational skills
- Being able to work in a team environment but equality show initiative with managing tasks.
- A current Working with Children Check and Police Check
