The role
The Operations team are currently seeking a part-time Receptionist for our Brisbane Office. The Reception role is the face of our firm and is therefore critical to our internal and external client service delivery. The part-time arrangement we are offering is one week on, one week off which may be desirable to some candidates. We are happy to discuss this in more detail at interview.
Our Receptionist will ensure that all visitors, callers and Clayton Utz Partners and employees are greeted and attended to in a responsive, friendly and professional manner with a focus on service excellence.
Key responsibilities
This varied, busy and exciting role will see you:
- Warmly, politely and professionally greeting all Clayton Utz visitors, ensuring they feel welcomed and looked after.
- Answering internal and external phone calls in the same manner and ensuring their call is directed to the most appropriate person.
- Administering bookings for internal services including rooms, catering and facilities equipment.
- Taking ownership of the presentation of the reception area and all meeting rooms and boardroom.
- Providing backup support for other roles within the team as required, including support as required for the central switchboard.
- Assisting the events team with on-site event coordination.
- Taking responsibility for administrative tasks, e.g. updating databases.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Receptionist is not a requirement for this role however the ideal candidate will have a can do attitude and open minded approach to their work.
In addition, you will:
- Possess a friendly, positive, proactive approach to your work
- Enjoy working with people and pride yourself in your customer service skills
- Have impeccable grooming and a professional telephone manner
- Be a team player with flexible working hours
- Have highly developed organisational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with others.
The Operations and Reception team
The Operations team provides a range of national support services to the firm including premises and facilities management, office services, secretarial support, word processing services, catering, purchasing and supply, records management and travel.
