The Role
We have an opportunity for a Customer Service focused individual to join our team at Mornington Toyota in the position of Receptionist. This is a full-time permanent position working 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday (overtime every week).
This is a Front of House Reception position situated in the showroom area meeting and greeting all guests entering the dealership in a cheerful and professional manner.
Some of your daily duties may include but not be limited to:
- Meet and greet incoming guests to the reception desk
- Managing all incoming calls to the dealership
- Servicing our guests with offer of tea, coffee, water
- Assisting the used car manager with inventory from our other dealerships
- Supporting our sales team with stock availability.
- Assisting with managing the used car inventory for preparation and display
- VicRoads delegate – registering and transfer of used cars
- Creating and maintaining used car records within REVS

The Person
Ideally you will have had exposure in a Customer Service and or reception role. Automotive experience is not essential as we can train you. Preferably you will be a local to the Peninsula.
You will be highly organised with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced workplace, present yourself immaculately and professionally, be approachable with a friendly and warm disposition and be dedicated to offering our guests a delightful experience from their first step within the dealership. You will have exceptional situational awareness and be able to monitor and gauge the environment around you. Confident in the use of Microsoft Office and can learn new programs and skills quickly.
The Future
We employ to develop and promote within. The natural progression of this role is to step up into a service advisor / guest experience consultant although this is not your only opportunity.
