Receptionist Plus
Preferred starting date Monday 25th June 9.00am-5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch.
World of Wellbeing is a busy, multi-disciplinary clinic of allied health practitioners located in Woden, adjacent to the Canberra Osteopathic Centre with whom we share a lunch room. We see clients from a few days old to octogenarians as we help them on their health journey towards a better quality of life. As our strap line says “we change the trajectory of people’s lives” by providing each person with professional support in a caring environment, whether they be babies, first time parents, non verbal children, teenagers, young and older adults. This is no small claim but we have had many people who have told us this is what they have experienced.
One of our Part Time receptionists is moving on and we need someone to fill the gap for 3 days per week.
The receptionist is the first point of contact with both existing and potential clients, and as such needs to have a warm and welcoming personality, demonstrate an interest in people, in the modalities we offer and the sorts of conditions we can help.
In addition to the practitioners, we have a dispensary with herbs and supplements, infrared saunas, pulsed electro magnetic field therapy (PEMF) and a large room available for hire for compatible activities.
This is not just a straight forward receptionist role of making bookings, taking payments and answering the phone. If successful, you will be preparing the saunas for clients, supervising PEMF sessions, placing orders for supplements, answering email enquiries. It is interesting, varied and rewarding to contribute to the healing journey of our clients.
If you are:_

- able to work under pressure when several things are happening at once
- able to cope with babies who may be crying, or children whose behaviour may be noisy or unruly (which is why they are coming to see us)
- interested in working in a clinic where there is mutual respect and consideration between practitioners, staff and clients
If you are our ideal candidate you will have:-
