Experienced or Trainee Vet Nurse is needed for our top service patient and client focused veterinary clinic.
We are looking for a multitasking person, who can work under pressure. Enthusiastic, friendly, self-motivated, with a genuine love for animals and interest to please our clients.
Must be excellent computer literacy. Great interpersonal skills. Remuneration above award wage, discounted vet care for your own pets. We are closed on Saturday
General vet nurse duties:
- Assist in consultation, surgery, dental procedures, x-rays
- Preparation for surgery, monitoring general anaesthesia
- Lab work with Idexx lab machine
- Care for hospital animals, boarders
- Provide general advice for clients
- General customer service duties: reception work, admission/discharge, answer calls, schedule appointment, process payment
- General cleaning
