As we continue to grow, we are currently looking for a dedicated Receptionist to join us in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our clients and team.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Receptionist to play a key role in the daily operations of our practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a positive and professional experience. This position involves handling various administrative tasks and collaborating closely with our clinical team to maintain the highest standards of service.You will need to be well presented and have exceptional people skills with an enthusiastic professional manner. You will work fairly autonomously, with the responsibility to make decisions on a day-to-day basis, and working alone at times with support from our Practice Manager. We are looking for a permanent part time employee that can work on Thursdays and Fridays during standard office hours (9am – 5pm).
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operational requirements of the practice.
- Greet and assist clients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage calls and emails from clients, referrers and clinicians.
- Schedule and coordinate client appointments with attention to detail and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate client records and handle data entry.
- Process payments, manage billing inquiries, and assist with financial transactions.
- Organise and maintain the office area, creating a professional and welcoming space.
- Collaborate closely with clinicians to facilitate smooth communication and client support.
- Uphold the practice's commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Receptionist, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting, or in a similar customer service role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and preferably Mac systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of team.
