About Ladybug House

Ladybug House is a small group of family-owned paediatric clinics providing Allied Health care to children up to the age of 9 years. 

We are passionate about the work we do and the contribution we make to each other, the families we support, and the community. We are big enough to provide the support and resources you need, but small enough that we care.

Co-located in an existing paediatric clinic, we are excited to be opening Ladybug House Brighton in June 2024!

About the role

We are looking for an experienced full-time Receptionist/Administration Officer to join our team, who can support our (wonderful!) team in providing high quality care to our clients and their families. 

This role will see you: 

  • Welcoming our clients to Ladybug House
  • Ensuring all face-to-face, phone and online enquiries are dealt with in a pleasant and professional manner
  • Entering data accurately into practice management software
  • Scheduling/rescheduling appointments
  • Filling appointment cancellations
  • Taking payments over the phone and in person using Tyro
  • Ordering stock and supplies as required
  • Providing general administrative and systems support to the Ladybug House team

About you

You have a desire to work within a paediatric healthcare setting and enjoy being part of a team environment. You are empathetic, show initiative and have a strong focus on providing solutions for our patients. You are highly organised and detail-oriented, with an ability to multi-task and prioritise in a busy work environment. 

You have exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural ability to communicate with people at all levels. You take pride in your work and feel good about doing the little things well. 

Most of all, you’re passionate about providing excellent and compassionate care to children and their families.

You have:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Receptionist or Administration Officer in a healthcare setting – Paediatric Allied Health experience will be highly regarded
  • Experience working within NDIS and Medicare frameworks
  • Technical proficiency in practice management/scheduling software and Google suite. A strong working knowledge of PowerDiary will be highly regarded.
  • Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Permanent working rights with no restrictions
