The Company
Western General Bodyworks is a family owned, tesla approved, automotive body repair business. We are your one-stop accident repair experts
and we offer repairs through all major insurance companies in Australia.
Essential Duties
- Greet and assist customers through in-person, phone, and email conversations.
- Gather customer information, provide updates, and collect payment while providing top-notch customer service.
- Answer telephone calls and assist callers as needed. Take messages and follow-up as promised.
- Schedule appointments for customer vehicles.
- Generate and close repair orders.
- Invoice repair orders from BS/Insurance estimates.
- Contact and follow-up with insurance companies regarding payment status.
- Order parts, office supplies and shop supplies.
- Deliver vehicle to customer or other Shearer locations when needed.
- Assist Manager and Body Shop Staff as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Solid work history that demonstrates reliability.
- Maintain positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Has a strong personality and adapt to work in fast paced environment.
- Ability to use PCs, printers, and related equipment.
- Body shop experience preferred, but not required.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
