As a Receptionist, you will provide exceptional customer service, handle inquiries, assist with membership sales, and ensure the smooth operation of the front desk. Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome members and guests as they enter the gym.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with membership sales and renewals.
- Provide information about gym services, programs, and membership options.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the gym's appointment calendar.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organised front desk area.
- Ensure compliance with gym policies and procedures.
- Handle member feedback and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and filing.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or receptionist role preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and basic software (e.g. scheduling software) and social media apps (e.g. instagram and facebook).
- Knowledge of fitness industry terminology and services is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Having a WWC Check (Blue Card) will increase the chance of securing this role
