About the Role
The recovery program delivers high quality and efficient services by providing person centered support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, drawing upon their existing support networks on their road to recovery; whether that be from coexisting trauma, disability and physical health, or complex unmet needs.
The Recovery Support Worker will contribute to a therapeutic community environment and work as part of a recovery focused team.
This position is casual.
About Albany Fellowship House
Richmond Wellbeing’s Albany site (Fellowship House) is a community centre for individuals experiencing mental health concerns. This site is open weekdays and provides people with individualized and group support. With a strong focus on recovery, Fellowship House provides people with the opportunity to connect with others, group activities to engage in, and provides support to meet the needs of individuals.
About you
To be successful you will have the following key attributes:
- A minimum Cert IV in Mental Health or Cert III in Community Services;
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritise workloads;
- A valid HLTAID011 First Aid;
- A current satisfactory Police Clearance; and
- A current driver’s license;
- Willing to undertake light cleaning duties.
Richmond Wellbeing is a leading WA mental health organisation, providing recovery-focused, community-based residential and outreach services for adults and young people.
