As a Recovery Support Worker, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to support consumers on their individualised recovery journey. A Recovery Support Worker works alongside consumers in a person centred and trauma informed way to aid recovery, drawing on collaborative support networks. As a Recovery Support Worker, you will be responsible for encouraging and supporting a healthy lifestyle, which includes supporting consumers to access clinical and non-clinical supports, increasing and improving community access, developing, and enhancing skills and facilitating recovery groups.
