SalaryThis is a 24-month fixed-term, full-time position (with the possibility of extension or permanency)
This position:
Manages the maintenance, improvement, planning and construction of the Islands public facilities and grounds (non essential services) including the open space/reserve infrastructure, structures, trails and recreational assets in the marine and terrestrial reserve. Ensure contractual commitments are met in regard to maintenance, cleaning and repairs.
The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.
Selection Criteria * Considerable (Level 4) or substantial (Level 5) experience in the planning, development and maintenance of recreational and public infrastructure areas.
- Considerable (Level 4) or substantial (Level 5) experience in the procurement and delivery of recreational and public infrastructure areas including experience in implementing and managing project works.
- Considerable (Level 4) or substantial (Level 5) experience in managing contractors and contracts relating to delivery of construction and/or the maintenance of public assets including the budget management.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with strong report writing experience.
