What we are looking for:
The Recruitment Coordinator will play a crucial role in leading and mentoring our recruitment team towards success. As a strategic thinker, you are passionate about continuous improvement and excel at building strong relationships throughout the organisation. You will be tasked with researching, developing, and implementing effective recruitment strategies, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations, and enhancing our employment conditions to attract and retain top talent.
You will develop and implement innovative hiring and retention strategies with a focus on positive candidate experience to attract and retain the highest calibre of employees for the Council, ensuring new hires align with and support the Council’s culture and vision.
Collaborate with departments, providing expert advice on recruitment-related issues to align their business objectives with employee hires.

What you should have to apply:
- Tertiary qualification (AQF 7 or above) in HR management or related field; and/or equivalent experience in a human resource/recruitment environment.
- Current QLD Class C Driver's Licence
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Adaptability and continuous improvement mindset
- Analytical and research skills in HR
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Advanced computer skills and data analysis
