We are looking to expand our business and move into the Temp/Locum sector and to work with a team of recruitment professionals who can develop and expand through the next phase of our business strategy.
About the role
The Recruitment Manager will assist and support clients to recruit & shortlist candidates for specific job roles within the aged care market. The Recruitment Manager has both a strategic and operational focus; ensuring activities reflect good practice, are contemporary and contribute to the business in order to service our valued clients.
As a Recruitment Manager you will support the end-to-end recruitment for the Lighthouse Recruitment Client base as well as business development in the Aged Care Sector. This role will report to the Director and you will be responsible for:
- Managing the day-to-day functions and workflow management of our aged care nursing recruitment agency;
- Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media, for example online advertising platforms and social media.
- Identifying business development opportunities and focusing on building long term relationships with clients.
- Assist with building the company’s nursing profile and promotion of the business including via social media channels;
- Informing candidates about vacant shifts, providing them with information on client needs and expectations;
- Offering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression;
- Working towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates place, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated;
- Consistently striving for ‘Best Practice’ service reflected in evolving business policies and operations for continuous improvement.
To be successful in this position you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- At least 1 years of experience as a Recruitment Lead/Manager in the temp/locum nursing sector
- Experience in the use of online recruitment systems and expertise in attraction and sourcing candidates through traditional advertising mediums, social media, and headhunting techniques.
- Have a curious and innovative mindset, can-do attitude, hands-on approach, works with a sense of urgency, analytical and logical and remains composed under pressure;
- Superior communication skills across all mediums and ability to build relationships at all levels of the business and community;
- Highly organized, able to manage conflicting priorities while working to a deadline;
- Proven track record in exceeding service expectations and meeting mutually agreed targets;
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the Australian Aged Care market;
- Ability to work alone;
- Ability to work well under pressure.
