AddressXugar (pronounced “sugar”) is a vibrant full-stack digital marketing agency in Southbank/South Melbourne. Our products and services include SEO, paid ads, social media, e-commerce, web design and hosting, applications integration and more. At almost seven years old, we have big plans for growth, and we’re looking for an experienced Recruitment Manager who can help us achieve that growth through driving targeted LinkedIn outreach campaigns to engage with potential candidates.
About the position
The purpose of this position is to (a) work closely with managers across the company to co-ordinate recruitment/onboarding for a busy and growing digital marketing agency and (b) support the smooth running of office facilities/social events.
Please note that this is a 100% onsite role in Southbank (negotiable after 3 months probation), a minimum 12 months direct recruitment experience is required, and JobAdder skills will be highly regarded.
This is what you’ll be doing on a day-to-day basis:
1. Recruitment (over 90%)
Managing the broad recruitment function from start to end...
helping managers to develop duties, writing and posting attractive job ads, driving targeted LinkedIn outreach campaigns to identify and engage with potential candidates, maintaining a pipeline of potential candidates for upcoming positions, responding to applications promptly, maintaining the JobAdder recruitment platform in real time, organising interviews and gathering feedback, undertaking referee checks, sending out letters of offer and subsequent employment paperwork, onboarding new team members, uploading documents to QBO, and checking in throughout the probation period.
2. Visas
Checking/recording student visas monthly and other visas three-monthly, managing the sponsorship process.
3. Office (less than 10%)
Supporting the culture and smooth operation of Xugar by organising monthly Town Halls, ordering groceries and stationery, and many other seemingly small – but important - tasks that help our office run smoothly and be safe, comfortable…and fun!
About you
This role would be perfect for someone who’s super-organised and pays attention to the details, works without close supervision, quickly grasps the skills needed for specific positions, effectively tailors communications, reliably checks own work and meets deadlines, has excellent analytical skills to scan/compare CVs, and is friendly and outgoing. Excellent grasp of spoken/written English and full work rights are a must-have.
