In your new role, you will:
- Work in a team of 6, across Melbourne and Brisbane, using software to co-ordinate the dispatch of recycled concrete aggregates and road base products.
- You will work closely with our Transport and Logistics team as well as Key Account Managers, confirming orders, responding to general enquiries, and allocating trucks to the schedule.
- One role will be responsible for incoming customer calls, primarily from our Queensland customers, with overflow Victorian calls in the queue. The other role will be looking after our Bins.
- You will be responsible for coordinating up to 10 trucks, so it is important you enjoy dealing with customers, drivers and solving a moving puzzle! Maybe you like Tetris?
- Experience with telephone-based logistics preferred, high level Microsoft skills (MS Excel, Outlook, BI/BC) and high-level numeracy. Experience with aggregates, construction materials or concrete is desirable but not essential.
