Based in Southeast Queensland, BYV is looking to welcome an experienced Project Manager to oversee the transitions of current contracts, staff, and workload to this joint venture.
About the Opportunity
BYV Organics is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team to manage the day-to-day operation of beneficial reuse of biosolids in agriculture. This position involves the operational management of all aspects of the current BYV contracts with Unitywater, Logan City Council and future contracts. BYV is seeking applicants who are looking for an opportunity to grow with the organisation and build upon a successful career in this sector. This role will suit someone located in Southeast Queensland preferably residing in the
Sunshine Coast, Caboolture or Kingaroy area.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Efficient and effective management of all aspects of field and transport operations.
- Planning, preparation and implementation of day-to-day operations and safe work procedures for beneficial use of biosolids in agriculture.
- Financial optimisation of operations to optimise profit whilst maintaining service standards.
- Foster relationships with stakeholders and maintain effective communication.
- Ensure quality control by undertaking regular audit reviews of the full biosolids management supply chain to ensure safety, quality and environmental standards are achieved.
- Prepare and update HSE Plans and procedure in collaboration with BYV Organics staff.
- Undertake regular travel to filed sites.
- Ensure all electronic records are regularly maintained and provide routine reports on activities, issues, risk, and suggestions for improvement.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in agriculture or waste management.
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications are highly sought after e.g. agriculture, agronomy, science
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a client-focused environment.

- Work with a team of motivated individuals who are highly qualified in their fields.
- Play a key role in delivering and managing this innovative and exciting project for the greater good of farms and crops.

- Full-time and permanent role, based in either Kingaroy, Caboolture or the Sunshine Coast with some travel required.
