About the Role:
Based in our global HQ in Burleigh Heads this is an integral sales leadership position involving regular travel both nationally and potentially internationally.
This is a Fixed Term Maternity Leave contract (until July 2025)
As Regional Boutique Sales Manager you will oversee and support our four Australian bridal boutiques located in Gold Coast, Sydney (flagship), Melbourne (flagship) and Perth!
Recruitment and Selection Process:
- Participate and guide Managers in showroom recruitment and selection processes
- Guide and support Managers in succession planning and development coaching
Onboarding and Training:
- Induct new sales team members
- Collaborate with People & Culture for onboarding processes
- Design and deliver training programs for showroom teams
Showroom Operations:
- Provide on-ground support for showroom operations & Manager responsibilities
- Coordinate annual training calendar for showroom teams
- Monitor showroom performance and guide and coach in issue resolution
Reviews and Support:
- Conduct probation, 6-month, and 12-month reviews
- Resolve performance issues and collaborate with People & Culture
Program Development and Analysis:
- Implement quarterly Mystery Shopper program
- Create and maintain training collateral
- Support in organisation and delivery of collection/product and brand training
Team Development and Engagement:
- Develop and assist in mentor programs and career pathways
- Reward and build enthusiasm for showroom team performance and morale
Sales and Inventory Management:
- Analyze stock vs sales and potential discontinued items
- Collaborate with Marketing for showroom bookings and sales support
- Monitor weekly and monthly sales reports
Showroom Coverage and Support:
- Ensure fully staffed showrooms for optimal sales
- Manage leave requests and approvals
- Act as Showroom Manager or Stylist when needed
Sales Optimization and Communication:
- Adapt processes based on sales trends
- Communicate results to sales team regularly
- Produce collateral on upskilling and sales techniques
Event Support and Miscellaneous:
- Support showroom events and marketing initiatives
- Act as emergency coverage for unexpected leave
- Assist with any other duties within capabilities
Required Experience & Skills:
- Experience as a Multi-Site or Regional Manager within the fashion / retail industry
- Proven track record in achieving, motivating and coaching to achieve conversions and reaching targets & KPIs
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of product and brand
- Effective communication skills, time management, organizational skills, ability to be detailed and customer service oriented
- Ability to manage several projects at the same time
- Ability to guide Managers in leading and managing performance and behavioral issues
- Scheduling and rostering experience
- Work collaboratively with other leadership and all staff within GLL to meet the GLL Vision
- Ability to lead by example and act as a brand ambassador at all times
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Highest standard of attention to detail
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment to achieve targeted results
- Ability to meet daily goals and deadlines
- Intermediate to Advanced skills utilizing MS Office Suite, Rostering & CRM (NetSuite is advantageous) Software
- Must be able to travel extensively locally and internationally on a planned fortnightly cycle plus adhoc travel out of cycle
