Make a difference as a SME Underwriting ServicesRegional ManagerYour RoleAs a SME Underwriting ServicesRegional Manager, you'll provide strong leadership in delivering exceptional SME Underwriting Services to broker partners and internal stakeholders within the region. Your responsibilities include leading the team to ensure timely and quality underwriting solutions, driving business growth and retention, and coaching team members for strategic alignment, engagement, and continuous improvement. Your key strategies involve supporting national initiatives, fostering strategic relationships, and delivering exceptional service to broker partners. Operational excellence is emphasized through driving efficiencies, meeting SLAs and KPIs, and maintaining governance standards. Leadership in people development, safety, and well-being, as well as financial authority compliance, are integral aspects of the role.This is a permanent, full-time opportunity requiring candidates to be located in either Sydney or Brisbane.About YouTo be successful in this role, in addition to having financial services experience in an operations role, you'll need to have the following:

• Strong commercial acumen developed through increasing responsibility in underwriting or operational management.
• Proven capability in strategic planning and execution
• Desired demonstrated technical underwriting knowledge.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in fostering high-performance teams.
• Strong customer-centric focus with a track record of instilling the same focus within the team.
