about us
Regional Arts Victoria (RAV) is the peak body for regional artists and arts organisations across Victoria. As an independent, not-for-profit, membership-based organisation, we foster contemporary and innovative cultural practice across regional Victoria through long-term partnerships with artists, venues and across multiple portfolios and levels of government.
Regional creatives are often the life blood of small regional areas providing community connection, improved liveability and contributing to the health and wellbeing of regional and remote people.
Our work in supporting and developing regional creative practice has fundamental roots in social equity and social justice as we work to enable marginalised regional people to be visible, have a voice and share their stories.
Examples of some of our projects are the , an all abilities choir based in Warrnambool, and , a community-based initiative and touring arts program.
