The Role: This is a part time position, reporting to the chief radiographer. You will be based at our Westmead Private Hospital clinic with possible shifts at our Newtown clinic, 3-4 days per week between 7am - 5pm.
A day in the life of an Interventional Registered nurse at our Westmead clinic will see you managing inpatients from the wards, overseeing pre and post-procedure monitoring for outpatients, assisting the radiologist with interventional procedures, and the anesthetist during MRI sedation lists.
Responsibilities: As a Registered Nurse at I-MED Radiology, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment. You will demonstrate proficiency in critical thinking, effective communication, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and comfort throughout their care.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification and registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia.
- Experience in IV cannulation is desirable but not essential
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Demonstrate flexibility in handling diverse and dynamic work environments
