Your role at St John of God Geelong HospitalYou will experience different aspects of the entire patient surgical journey, which is both exciting and extremely rewarding. We provide opportunities for nurses to enhance and discover new skills, supporting a range of different case mixes including complex surgeries.Our DOSA unit also caters to patients requiring procedures in General surgery, Urology, Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Dental, Plastic Surgery; with a large number of Paediatric patients. In addition to these specialties, our DOSA unit also accommodates Cardiac Cath Lab patients who have had diagnostic angiography and have TR bands or sheaths to be monitored and removed. This unit is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and advanced monitoring systems to ensure the highest level of patient care, and is staffed by a dedicated team of highly skilled nurses and doctors.
