About the role:
This role will provide leadership and supervision to Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Workers and promote a harmonious team approach to the delivery of resident care. In this role will, you will:
- Deliver high quality, person centred care to residents and families, including consideration for cultural, spiritual and individual needs
- Provide nursing care to residents with complex needs such palliative care, dementia support, restorative care and pain management to enhance their wellbeing
- Suitable for an RN who is early in their career
- Analyse risk, implement strategies and participate in clinical handover with Registered Nurses
- Promote a harmonious team approach by acting as a role model in coordinating daily routines and adhering to safe practice measures in medication management in consultation with the Registered Nurse
- Suitable for a recently Graduated Registered Nurse looking to start their career in a supportive workplace environment
- Permanent shifts Sun-Tues and Wed-Sat AM/PM
- Casual min commitment 2-3 shifts/week AM/PM and ND
About you:
You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents to support them to live life to their potential!
- Current registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse Div 1
- Recently graduated Registered Nurse with experience in residential aged care/ home care (desired)
- Experience with dementia care and palliative care support (desired)
- Proficiency in decision making, critical analysis and on the spot problem solving
- Demonstrated abilities to delegate and prioritise in a fast paced environment with exemplary communication skills in a team and one on one interactions with all levels of care partners
- Available on permanent roster
- Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions

- A current Working With Children Employee check card
- Current and ongoing flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations
- Australian working rights
