Location
Central to the residential area of Hamilton Hill, Aegis Carrington offers a host
of well-appointed amenities including a popular café, hydro spa, library,
shaded alfresco courtyard dining and tastefully furnished lounge areas
where residents and their families and guests can mingle in a relaxed social
atmosphere. Our friendly and diverse team are seeking an RN to join our ranks on a casual basis.
About You
You should ideally be an empathetic person who possesses the following qualities:
- A commitment and genuine passion for Aged Care.
- An ability to inspire trust and proactively lead, coach, develop and mentor both unregulated care workers, care, and lifestyle staff.
Within this role you will be a champion of quality, safe and effective nursing that aligns with the resident preference and best practice by:
- Undertaking clinical, social and self-care assessments.
- Anticipating residents’ changing health needs and initiate further assessments or referrals.
- Supporting residents by addressing their queries, comments, suggestions, or concerns.
You will be responsible for compliance by:
- Ensuring all care documentations are completed with the appropriate strategies implemented.
- Identifying and managing clinical risk in the aged care setting.
We need you to have acquired the following:
- A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Clinical experience and ability to manage risk in aged care.
- A sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and quality management systems.
- Full Australian working rights and be able to pass a national police clearance.
