About the Role
- In the capacity of a Registered Nurse/Midwife you will collaborate with a diverse team, delivering patient care with the assistance and direction of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders.
- Together we aim to provide family-centered nursing care, ensuring the highest standards of care and service to mothers, families, and newborns within our state-of-the -art facility.
About You
- To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong clinical skillset working within a hospital setting, particularly in maternity services.
- Your proficiency in effective communication and your ability to foster and sustain valuable interpersonal connections are vital, as you will be engaging with family members, a wide array of healthcare professionals and community agencies in a constructive and collaborative manner.
Additionally you will also exhibit the following:
- Current AHPRA registration (dual registration as Midwife & Nurse highly advantageous)
- A minimum two (2) years post graduate experience in Birth Suite/Matson Ward
- A comprehensive knowledge in all areas of maternity services
- Postgraduate maternity qualifications will be highly regarded, though not essential.
- Exceptional skills in time management, clinical problem solving and organisational skills.
Desirable criteria:
- Advanced Diploma in area of speciality
- IBCLE (International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant) or expertise in management and advice in breastfeeding to parents
- Group facilitation skills
Remuneration
$34.43 - $48.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE 68,033.68 - $95,500.08]
