About the Women’s Recovery Network (WREN)

WREN is an innovative service developed in response to the Royal Commission recommendations for partnerships between the public and private sector, and the need for gender segregation and sexually safe units. We recognise that women experiencing mental ill-health have specific needs that differ from their male counterparts that require tailored treatment and support. Located at Ramsay Clinic Albert Road, the clinic is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics with 74 Australian sites employing over 30,000 people.

About the Role

Our new WREN service has night duty opportunities available for Registered and Enrolled Nurses! Located at Ramsay Clinic Albert Road with 24 inpatient beds, you will provide comprehensive specialist service for women experiencing severe mental ill-health. Our care will be trauma-informed and wellness-focused.

These are permanent night duty positions. Availability to work these shifts is essential to be considered.

About You

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Consumers, families/carers/supporters and the multidisciplinary team to provide care that supports woman’s mental health and wellbeing and promotes recovery.
• Foster a compassionate and supportive environment, promoting dignity and respect for all women.
• Offer education and support to Woman and their families/carers/supporters, empowering them to actively participate in the care process.

Qualifications:

• AHPRA Registration as an RN or EN
• Experience working in a mental health inpatient setting (highly regarded)
• Knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed approaches and best practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, innovative environment.

Remuneration

Enrolled Nurse: $31.27 - $36.61 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC EEN gr1-gr8) [FTE $61,793.16 - $72,330.96] 

Registered Nurse: $34.39 - $ 47.55 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $67,957.76 - $93,965.04]

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
