The Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) Registered Nurse team is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Registered Nurses with a genuine desire to help patients, family members and careers as well as Medical professionals.
As a Surgical Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional nursing care to patients and clients while leading, directing, and supervising other healthcare professionals in the team. This position is crucial in ensuring the provision of high-quality care and maintaining the hospital's commitment to excellence.
About You

  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Recent clinical experience in the position speciality and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
  • Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and sound written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of team nursing and demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team

You will be working in our General Surgical Unit based at Gosford Hospital.
