Bank of China Sydney Branch is now seeking a highly motivated individual who has exceptional communication, administration and organisational skills to join our Financial Institution Department.
This is a Two Years Maximum Term role, subject to review for an on-going position after contract period.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Handling marketing to managing a portfolio of clients that could include Banks, Sovereign or Sovereign-like Institutions, Stock Exchange, NBFIs such as Super companies, Insurance Companies, Investment & Asset Management Companies, Finance Companies etc, maintenance of relations with such customer groups and comprehensive business cooperation with them
- Coordinating and organizing to provide customers with all-round, integrated product and service schemes covering all product lines and comprehensive operation platforms of the Branch, taking charge of comprehensive returns from customers within its authority, being responsible for controlling credit risk, compliance and AML and other related risks of their customers
- Originating new business across Bank’s institutional client base including Fixed income, Debt Capital Markets, Derivatives, Structured Products, Foreign Exchange, closely coordinating with product partners across the institutional BOC group platform
- Working independently in assessing customers’ credit profile and prepare credit proposal (new application/annual review), deal execution, including Syndications, Leveraged Finance, Global Markets and DCM, etc.
- Marketing to overseas investors to invest in the Chinese domestic market and taking charge of domestic-overseas market interconnectivity business
- Performing customer review or post-lending management according to correspondent requirements
- Compiling documents and reports on relevant sectors and products involving banking peers and non-banking Financial Institutions
- Implementing Team’s KPI
- Ad-hoc assignment assigned by the Department.
Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical & numerical skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Knowledge of financial and treasury products.
