We are currently searching for an experienced and dedicated Administration Officer to join the farming research team. Very flexible hours, with ‘school hours’ available.
About the role:
As part of the Administration team, you will contribute to the provision of accurate and timely account keeping and reporting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fuel reading records.
- Maintain the PPE cupboards in the farm lunchroom and chemical shed.
- Farm staff training records and other staff-related records.
- Record harvesting.
- Recording the farm activities in FMIS (AgCommander)
- Fertilizer and irrigation Data Entry
- Farm spray record Data Entry
- Manual tasks Data Entry
- Consumable Data Entry
- Stock received Data Entry (Ensure the ordered products are on site and check the accuracy of the quantities)
- Reconciling the POs with delivery dockets for the finance team and carrying out receipt of the purchase orders in ERP system.
- Updating staff records
- Filing all the delivery dockets and general filing.
- Planning and organizing fortnightly agronomy meetings and taking meeting minutes.
- Farm level compliance duties:
- Create SOPs on request and submit them to Agronomy leadership and Quality Management for approval
- Carry out the required records for Freshcare compliance requirements.
- Carryout required records for ICA26, and ICA 30 protocol
Work experience & skills
- Previous experience in farm management information systems (eg: Agcommander, Agworld, Muddy boots, etc)
- Willing to learn new tasks and skills
- Working under dynamic environment
This role is central to the ongoing success of the organisation. It requires attention to detail combined with pragmatism necessary to complete tasks; understanding and adhering to processes with an ability to recognise inefficiencies and embrace improvements.

Position reports to the Farm Business Development Manager.
