About the Role The Ethics Team is an integral part of the Research and Education Group and is responsible for leading and influencing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander research, ethics and protocols. This includes the promotion of the Agencies Code of Ethics for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Research and the management of the Secretariat function for the AIATSIS Research Ethics Committee, which is responsible for reviewing ethics applications and projects involving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander research. The Ethics Team prides itself on cultivating meaningful partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders to promote high ethical standards.
