Your Key Accountabilities:
The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Provide high quality, well research advice to senior Research Officer and senior management in relation to QPS prevention strategies and operational priorities.
- Perform project and research tasks aimed at the investigation, analysis and critical evaluation of evidence-based prevention strategies.
- Contribute as part of a multi-disciplinary team to the planning, development, implementation and monitoring of Whole of Government strategies and QPS strategic and operational plans.
- Produce timely and accurate information to be used for the purpose of evaluating programs, providing a basis for planning and policy development, and the assessment of legislative impacts relating to prevention.
- Consult and liaise effectively with other areas of the QPS and relevant Government departments and non-government organisations, as appropriate, and represent the QPS on inter-agency forums.
- Prepare and present written reports, briefings, evaluations and executive correspondence to senior management, key stakeholders and other diverse audiences.
