Hunter Valley Stays is the No.1 Short Stay Accommodation and Property Management company in the Hunter Valley and we are seeking new, qualified Reservation Agents to join our energetic and sales focused team.

The role will see you working 40 hours a week.

More about the Role:

This role will suit an organised, detail oriented and independent professional who has strong skills and background in reservations, sales or customer service. Not only will this team member be able to deliver a 5-star customer experience when making a reservation or sale, they will ideally also be knowledgeable about our beautiful Hunter Valley Wine Country.

Initially, the casual position requires the employee to work up to 40 hours a week. Please note the position will commence on a casual basis, and after 3 months’ probation and training period, the candidate will be reviewed and have an opportunity to become a Full Time employee. Full Time days are currently on Tuesday – Saturday, with the probation period training days being Monday – Friday.

• Strong attention to detail
• First point of contact for accommodation enquiries and bookings within a fast-paced environment and goal-oriented team
• Provide superior customer service to a broad and diverse clientele of guests
• Strong sales orientation, with the ability to inform, influence, and clearly communicate details on products/tariffs
• End to end management of all aspects of the booking process for the guest and business
• Strong communication skills including a professional phone manner and excellent written skills for emails are essential
• A mature work ethic and self-motivated to work autonomously
• Strong computer literacy (Experience with Mac highly desirable but not essential)
• Experience with booking systems and third-party booking platforms such as Airbnb, Vrbo/Stayz, Booking.com etc highly regarded but not essential
• Be a true team player, who will go the extra mile to promote a premium brand
• Knowledge of the Hunter Valley region and its offerings
• Successful Applicant will need to complete the assistant real estate license on line at Hunter Valley Stays expense.
