Causeway Hotels is a group of hotels located in the heart of Melbourne CBD. We focus on providing authentic Melbourne experiences to all our guests. Qualifications & experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role in a 4- or 5-Star Hotel
- Immaculate presentation, personal style and advanced communication skills
- OPERA knowledge
- Strong Knowledge of Siteminder, 3rd party extranet infrastructure and other reservations specific applications
- Sound leadership capability with ambition and strong team ethic
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Tasks & responsibilities
- To maximize efficiency of reservations staff and to co-ordinate the management of all reservations, thereby maximizing yield management.
- Maintain control of all bookings & hotel inventory ensuring the hotel is filled to its capacity at the maximum yield rate.
- Establish, in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders, financial performance targets for revenue, expenditure and market share and ensure department achieves these targets.
- Accurately complete reports, action commission, handovers and guest correspondence
- To represent the department at appropriate meetings, attend guest functions and to represent the hotel when necessary, at hotel functions and familiarizations.
- Ensure optimal presentation and maximization of business opportunities through brand websites, 3rd party websites, CRO and GDS.
