About the role
Our client is seeking a passionate Residential Services Manager to lead their teams based on the Eyre Peninsula in the coastal town Whyalla, SA. Reporting to the Group Manager, you will be responsible for the standards and provision of nursing care and continuous service provided to residents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Participates in the strategic planning process.
- Ensures the documentation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of a quality management system for efficient and effective management and ongoing accreditation.
- Ensures the provision of high-quality resident services alligned with the organisations mission and principles of care.
- Provide effective leadership and management to direct reports and the wider workforce including performance management, succession planning, team development and performance coaching.
- Establish and maintain a workforce culture based on organisational values that provide for optimal consumer outcomes.
- Provide leadership in reasoning, decision making, and problem solving, including the participation distribution and utilisation, of research to ensure evidence based best practice is established in overall care service delivery
- Ensures rights and responsibilities of residents are provided and follows up concerns raised by residents or their families.
- To lead and coordinate ongoing evaluation and revision of residential service provision to continuously improve systems, processes and procedures to deliver resident focused outcomes.
To be successful, you will have:
- Minimum 3 years of management experience
- Excellent knowledge and experience in Aged Care
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in staff management, including recruitment, performance management, and rostering
- Familiarity with various systems and proficient computer skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Effective interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with external service providers and stakeholders
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure
- Commitment to quality and broad knowledge of contemporary Aged Care, including ACFI funding and Accreditation
- AHPRA Registration
- National Criminal Record Check
- NDIS clearance
