Here for good.A brighter future with Helping Hand, for older people and for you.As our Residential Services Manager based in Whyalla, you will lead the delivery of person-centered care and have overall quality, financial, and operational accountability for Copperhouse Court and Yeltana, our two Residential Care homes. You will lead the development and delivery of high-quality services in accordance with the new Aged Care Quality Standards through effective management and leadership of the workforce, financial and other resources. As the Manager, your experience, expertise, and energy will play an important role as we continue to define ourselves as an industry leader.You’ll also make an impact by:
- Ensuring the provision of high-quality resident services aligned with Helping Hand’s mission and principles of care and with the aim to optimise resident’s quality of life, choice, and independence
- Leading and coordinating ongoing evaluation and revision of residential service provision in order to continuously improve systems, processes and procedures to deliver resident focused outcomes.
- Providing effective leadership and management to direct reports and the wider workforce including performance management, succession planning, team development and performance coaching.
- Establishing and maintaining a workforce culture based on organisational values that provide for optimal consumer outcomes.
- A formal qualifications in health, aged care or a management-related discipline, or comparable business experience
- Extensive experience and performance in the delivery of person-centered services in a health or aged care environment
- Leadership and management experience in a complex environment including evidence of ability to build and develop strong operational service teams and performance management
- Demonstrated high level of verbal and written communication skills and ability to relate with all levels of staff, client and internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in managing and leading teams through change
- Demonstrated ability to meet financial outcomes within a service environment including development of annual budgets, financial monitoring and analysis and maximisation of income
- Demonstrated experience with financial, quality, risk, and compliance within Aged or Health care services
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one
