Resilience Officer Salary $88,557.35 - $102,727.05 p/a + super Permanent full time position – 35 hours per week Workplace located at Gordon Located 16 km’s north of the Sydney CBD, the Ku-ring-gai area covers 84km2, is home to 124,000 residents and is set in one of New South Wales’ most attractive natural environments. Reporting to the Sustainability Programs Leader, your duties will include, but are not limited to: Delivering the Climate Wise Communities and other Sustainability Engagement Programs including workshops and CWC web platform maintenance Assisting in preparedness, response and recovery from severe weather events Project management including budget monitoring Monitoring and evaluating to measure the program performance against the KPI’s in Council’s Delivery Program, Operational Plan and Environmental Levy Monitoring and Evaluation Plan Development as required of environmental education materials and communications for Council’s Environmental Levy program Required Qualifications/Certificates Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline OR substantial relevant work experience Class C Drivers Licence Required experience/skills: Experience in the design, implementation and management of sustainability engagement or community disaster resilience programs Experience in the administration of web-based engagement platforms Experience in developing and delivering communications and educational resources Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment, including evenings and weekends. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills Competence in software including MS Word, Excel and GIS This is a great opportunity to be a key player in the delivery of Council’s sustainability engagement programs.
