What's the role?
This role sits in the Events and Experiences team, within the Publishing pillar of News Corp Australia.
We are looking for a highly experienced, exceptionally organised Event Producer to join the team and ensure all event programs they are assigned excite and engage audiences, whilst creating memorable experiences that align with News Corp Australia's strategy.
As an Event Producer, you will manage the production and seamless delivery of events under varying brands including News Corp Australia, The Australian, The Daily Telegraph, delicious.,The Weekly Times, Vogue Australia and more. No two days are the same! This is one of the most exciting divisions at News Corp with all event programs at the heart of the brands we represent. Events and experiences are not for the faint hearted, but they are incredibly rewarding. If you are proactive, creative and have a diligent working attitude, this role is for you.
Key responsibilities
Manage all end to end requirements for event project management and seamless activation of commercial and trade events.
Ensure all events are implemented and activated successfully to the customer and client expectations with a clearly defined and communicated project plan and measurement objectives
Support the Events & Experiences team to deliver the FY24-FY25 events roadmap to achieve the intended campaign goals for each project or masthead, this includes all administrative tasks to see out all event executions to best in class standards.
Build effective relationships with all relevant internal staff across, product, editorial, events, legal, marketing nationally to achieve successful outcomes for both parties
Work closely with key stakeholders and editorial teams to ensure all events are successfully delivered on brand
Assist in all end to end customer planning and touchpoints to ensure alignment to event strategies
Support with the post campaign analysis templates and evolve, present & implement revised operational learnings after each event
Contribute to a culture that is innovative, customer focused and reflects the News Corp and team values
Who are you?
5-8 years experience as an event manager or Event Producer
A passionate project manager with extensive experience in end to end project creation and activation of multi-channel campaigns, event management is key
Experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders including sponsor management for consumer events
An organised leader with excellent time management and attention to detail
A confident decision maker who weighs up alternatives according to their likely impact on the team / function, can work under pressure and react accordingly in environments that can be sensitive and time pressured.
A skilled stakeholder management expert
You have outstanding attention to detail and organisation skills
Ability to manage competing priorities
Flexibility to travel for event delivery
Proactive attitude who is up for any challenge or task
An excellent communicator
Skilled in GSuite
