About the opportunity
The Respect at Work Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating delivery of the University’s Respect at Work Action Plan: a cross-functional program of work which umbrellas a set of actions aimed at preventing and responding effectively to unlawful workplace conduct, including sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, bullying and discrimination. A core component of the Respect at Work Program Manager role is collaborating effectively with the various functional project leads with responsibility for delivery of the
program’s actions.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- develop and communicate the methodology for effective program delivery, processes and templates to functional project leads and key internal stakeholders
- manage overall program organisation, ensuring the delivery of each action in the Respect at Work action plan within deadline and budget
- ensure the functional project lead establishes and coordinates working groups/ project teams for each action and establishes appropriate communication and collaboration tools and channels
- manage all program related financials including facilitating budget allocations and monitoring expenditure
- develop and embed a program governance and reporting framework, including identifying and managing risks and interdependencies and establishing communication and engagement tools.
About you
- postgraduate qualifications – in a relevant field or and equivalent combination of training and experience
- experience in people management, with the demonstrated skills to motivate and mobilise small, diverse teams to create a positive workplace culture and achieve organisational outcomes
- significant experience in managing multiple diverse internal and external stakeholders
- extensive project management experience including managing budgets and expenditure
- ability to communicate effectively with demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills.
