The Respiratory Scientist will be responsible for performing a range of respiratory function assessments appropriate for the diagnosis and management of patients with known or suspected respiratory disease.They will also play an active role in the Respiratory Investigation Unit’s quality assurance programs and work collaboratively with other staff, to maintain high standards of patient care and service delivery.Education on the physiological basis, measurement and interpretation of respiratory function tests will be provided through on-the-job training and mentorship.Where You'll Be Working

  • Certified Respiratory Function Scientist (CRFS) certification or relevant experience at a public or private health facility is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
