Restaurant Manager

Shop225 is a fully operating restaurant located in Melbourne. We are looking for a full-time restaurant manager able to work and manage staff providing efficient experience backed by quality, consistency and sincerity. The person will be responsible for ensuring the Restaurant is at all times organized and running at its highest standards. You will also be required to organize and control the operations of the business and provide efficient dining services.

Duties:

• Train and supervise staff
• Manage the budget in accordance with the owners
• Ensure compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines.
• Oversee stock levels, order supplies
• In charge of the team and be responsible for the of the day to day service standards and operations of the restaurant
• Develop and mentor your team and continue to build the culture and comradery that our hotel is renowned for.
• Ensure clear communication within your department and with all other departments to create effective working practices.
• Prepare weekly forecasts for the restaurant and roster staff accordingly.
