Restaurant Manager
Alchemy Restaurant and Bar located on Brisbane's Waterfront is looking for the right person to join our team in the kitchen . In this position, you will be carrying out the following tasks and duties:
TASKS:
planning daily service
estimating food and labour costs and ordering supplies
monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
discussing any issues with Managers, kitchen chefs and waiting staff
demonstrating wine knowledge
understanding cost control
explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
selecting and training staff
understanding Australian workplace laws
Skils Required for the position:
Ability to work as part of a team.
Must be able to carry all sections of restaurant.
Must be an autonomous worker with drive and focus.
Previous experience in fine dining is an advantage 
Must be able to manage the a floor team of up to 20 staff
Ordering
Assist in Menu Wine design
Be able to organise rosters
