About the Role
An exciting career opportunity exists for a highly motivated & proactive Restaurant Manager to lead the Rupert & Hound team. As a manager you will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations in for a successfully market leading business and reporting directly to the Managing Director and Business Manager. You will have the opportunity to implement your own initiatives supported by strong business growth and core team of professionals.
The successful applicant will be energetic, enthusiastic and will need to demonstrate:
- An understanding of the expectations of a manager in a complex hospitality setting.
- Proven success as an Assistant Manager or junior management hospitality role.
- The ability to lead, mentor, manage, train and direct a multi-skilled team.
- An entrepreneurial spirit and the drive for creating sustainable long-term business success.
- Ability to manage day to day restaurant operations, possess sound communication, organisational and time management skills.
- Passionate about providing genuine service and knowledge regarding our local produce.
- Possess the ability and confidence to be brand ambassador and be willing to uphold our core values.
- Previous management experience in a similar role is essential.
- An understanding of stock control and cost management.
- Thrive on offering exceptional customer service and exceeding all expectations.
- A genuine love of great food and wine.
