SalaryJob Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the FOH team for a new restaurant concept launching in July 2024 and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess strong leadership skills, and have a track record of delivering excellent customer experience to a fine dining customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including staff management, scheduling, and training and be hands on the floor too serving and assisting team by leading by example
- Bar management
- Greet customers
- Management and maintain of Point of Sale System
- Experience with groups and events
- Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, service and food and beverage knowledge
- Monitor FOH inventory levels and ensure proper ordering and stocking of supplies
- Develop and implement strategies to maximise revenue and profitability
- Foster a positive work environment and provide guidance, training & support to staff
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with the executive chef for smooth alignment with FOH & BOH
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Supervisor role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience with fine dining service concept
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
- Knowledge of restaurant management software and basic financial principles
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
