Position: Restaurant Manager
Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000
Location: Dosa Hut Cranbourne East, Shop 1/1 Linsell Boulevard, Cranbourne East, Victoria 3977
Job Type: Permanent position, Full-time. Must be available to work on weekends and public holidays.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional service standards.
2. Lead and inspire the team to achieve operational excellence and provide outstanding customer service.
3. Manage staffing requirements, including recruitment, training, and scheduling of staff.
4. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies.
5. Implement and maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
6. Manage budgeting and financial planning, including cost control to maximize profitability.
7. Address customer feedback with professionalism and resolve any issues to maintain high customer satisfaction.
8. Foster a positive, collaborative work environment to enhance team morale and retention.
9. Develop and implement strategies for business growth and increased dining experience satisfaction.
10. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry guidelines.
Key Skills and Attributes:
1. Proven experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in Indian or South Indian cuisine.
2. Strong leadership and people management skills to motivate and manage the team effectively.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with staff and customers.
4. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and solve problems swiftly.
5. Knowledge of inventory management, budgeting, and cost control.
6. Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer service.
