Form of work Bravo Trattoria is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as the Restaurant Manager for our Italian restaurant in Crows Nest. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant’s operations to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial success. The position is full time and an indicate salary for the position is $78,000 per annum including superannuation. The successful candidate will have at least two-three years of relevant experience. Candidates with relevant qualifications will be preferred.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
• Recruit appropriately qualified staff to work in the restaurant.
• Schedule and coordinate employee shifts, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
• Conduct training sessions to maintain high standards of service and product knowledge.
Customer Service:
• Ensure guests receive prompt, friendly, and personalised service.
• Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
• Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements as necessary to enhance the dining experience.
Operations Management:
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Coordinate events, functions etc that are held at the restaurant from time to time.
• Monitor inventory levels for the front of house and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness and organisation is maintained throughout the restaurant, including dining areas, kitchen, and restrooms.
• Ensure all health and safety standards to met and generally ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff.
Menu Development and Quality Control:
• Collaborate with the chef to develop and refine menu offerings based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, portion sizes, and presentation.
• Monitor food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of taste and presentation.
Business Development:
• Undertake research in relation to the market place and provide recommendations to modify our service offering.
• Participate in business development activities as directed.
