The Red Lion Hotel has been a beloved part of Rozelle community since it opened it's doors 1828. Newly renovated throughout, we are proudly starting a new fun french chapter in the Bistro spearheaded by Manu Feildel. From the elegant ambience of our upstairs French bistro to the welcoming public bar with its larger than life lion and the wrap-around balcony offering panoramic vistas, every visit promises to be an unforgettable experience.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Venue Manager, as the Restaurant Manager at The Red Lion, you are responsible for but not limited to:
- Have control over the restaurants appearance and atmosphere for all services and events
- Work as part of the venue leadership team to instill culture of superior customer service leaving the customer 'wanting more'
- Experience the unique opportunity to work alongside Manu Feildel
- Oversee all day-to-day bistro operations
- Build a strong rapport with all guests and clients
- Be responsible for recruitment, onboarding and staff development
- Have experience in rostering and approving timesheets accordingly
- Implement processes and standards to ensure all front of house operations run effectively and seamlessly
As a driven, passionate and focused individual you will possess the following attributes and skills:
- Experience as a Restaurant Manager
- Knowledge of French cuisine is preferred
- Ability to share your knowledge, manage and motivate
- Immaculate presentation paralleled with the service delivery
- Exceptional management skills and the ability to work autonomously
