An exciting new restaurant operating 5 nights per week in the Ballina Byron area is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor. We are searching for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Supervisor with exceptional restaurant service, people management and organisational skills. You will work closely with a small team of passionate industry professionals to ensure that every customer has an authentic and memorable dining experience from start to finish. Prior experience working in fine dining restaurants and/or bars is a must.

For this position we are seeking someone who will be responsible for:
- Responsible for co-ordinating all events and functions.
- Welcoming, seating, taking orders and serving food and beverages.
- Preparing drinks and cocktails.
- Providing assertive service and suggestive upselling
- Opening/closing the floor and directing other team members during service.
- Managing bookings, walk ins and seating throughout the evening.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills
- Foster co-operation and respect between co-workers
Required:
- RSA required.

- 3+ years experience in a high-end bar or a la carte restaurant environment.
- Someone who takes initiative is self-motivated, professional, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and think on your feet.

- To be dedicated to providing our clients with an excellent dining experience.
- Well-presented, punctual and exceptional attention to detail.
- Clear communicator on both phone & email.
The successful applicant will be required to work a flexible schedule including weekends and public holidays. Option to discuss the transition to a permanent part-time position once completion of probationary period.
