Restaurant Supervisor

Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world-famous Cable Beach in Broome, far north Western Australia. Broome is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital and schools. Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, Resort Shop and Day Spa.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor. This position will require you to work predominantly morning shifts at the Cichetti Boardwalk.

The key duties and responsibilities of this position include:

• Barista Experience is essential for this role
• Serve food and beverage, undertake outlet set up and pack down tasks
• Learn and understand stock ordering and transfer procedures
• Process food and beverage orders and financial transactions using POS system
• Promptly address customer concerns
• Product knowledge is an essential part of this role
• Maintain product presentation at all times
• Driving revenue by ensuring maximum covers per service period
• Ensure staffing levels are sufficient at all times
• Log maintenance as required and supervise the maintenance of service equipment
• Ensuring the restaurant and staff is always presented to resort standards
• Assist in the Restaurant Manager with menu and wine list creation

The required skills, experience and attributes for this position include:

• Previous experience in a Hotel/Resort environment
• Hold a current WA Liquor License, or the ability to obtain one
• High level of personal presentation and grooming
• Strong verbal and written English language skills
• Have a professional, friendly and engaging personality
• Formal qualifications in Hospitality, Training Small Groups, Management or Supervision and/or Health and Safety Standards an advantage
