Our client is a Private Owner, Property and Construction Developer, and Manager of assets across the eastern seaboard.
The Role:
As the Development Manager, you will lead the development, implementation and monitoring the property development strategy.
Your duties will include:
- Investigate and analyse development opportunities
- Prepare property development business cases and funding proposals
- Manage accurate and comprehensive documentation
- Prepare timely, accurate & professional reports and acquittals.
- Manage existing property assets.
- Source, implement and monitor asset management plans.
- Maintain excellent relations with all stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with relevant legislation and contractual obligations.
- Contribute to strategy, management, decision-making and capacity building.
- Co-ordinate, supervise, inspect with on site contractors, builders, trade persons to ensure they are well briefed.
- Undertake leasing where necessary
- Tertiary Qualifications in Property or Construction preferred
- Knowledge of DA Approval Process, Construction and/or Retail
- Proven Financial & Commercial Acumen
- Capacity to thrive in high-pressure environments
- Innovative problem-solving skills and lateral thinking prowess
- Proactive outlook with a talent for spotting opportunities and suggesting resolutions
