The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Retirement Village Manager to join us at our Ashlar Glen Village in Dianella, managing the day-to-day operations of this Rental, Short Term and Lease for Life village, where no two days are the same.
We require a dedicated and reliable person to join our supportive team. Reporting to the Manager Retirement Living, this is a hands-on position responsible for:
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service to village residents, promptly addressing any issues or complaints
- Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of residents
- Contributing to the financial performance of the villages, including budgeting and reporting
- Developing and implementing strategies to enhance resident satisfaction and engagement
- Building strong relationships with residents, their families, and the local community
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
This position requires a self-motivated individual capable of managing their workload efficiently to meet the needs of Masonic Care WA.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in the Retirement Living Industry / Community Service / Property Management / Aged Care or related field is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and resolve conflicts
- An understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements consistent with the Retirement Villages Act
- Demonstrated experience across preparation, management and control of village budgets and financials
- Strong administration skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work autonomously
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and proficient computer skills
